Normandale Choir
Have passion for music? The choir is a mixed voice ensemble for post-high school singers from the Normandale community (minimum choir experience at high school level). The choir leads congregational singing and sacred choral anthems. In preparation for worship services, members are expected to be at weekly rehearsals and participate on a regular basis. Major Choral/orchestral works are presented yearly. Rehearsals are 6:30-8:00 Wednesday evenings.

The Normandale Choir, Wednesdays 6:30-8:00 pm
The Normandale Choir is a mixed voice ensemble for post-high school singers from the Normandale community. Choir members are expected to be at weekly rehearsals and participate in worship on a regular basis. Major Choral/orchestral works are presented yearly. Rehearsals are 6:30-8:00 Wednesday evenings.
The Normandale Male Chorus
The Normandale Men’s Chorus is a combination of men from the Normandale Choir and other interested male singers from the Normandale community.
The Normandale Youth Choir, Wednesdays 5:30-6:30 pm
The Normandale Youth Choir is mixed voice choir for singers in grades 7-12. Choir members are expected to be at weekly rehearsals and participate in scheduled worship services; approximately two Sundays per month. Rehearsals are 5:30-6:30 Wednesday evenings. June 17-26, 2011, the YC will embark on a choir tour to New Orleans. The choir will participate in worship and present concerts at churches in Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, and Iowa.
The Normandale Brass Quintet, Wednesdays 5:15-6:15 pm
The Normandale Brass Quintet rehearses weekly from 5:15-6:15 pm on Wednesdays. Substitute musicians are often needed.
The Normandale Hand Bell Choir, Thursdays 5:45-6:45 pm
The Normandale Hand Bell Choir rehearses weekly from 5:45-6:45 pm on Thursdays. Substitute ringers are needed on a regular basis.
Normandale Children's Choirs
Under the direction of Ruth Oliphant, the Normandale Children’s Choirs worship our Lord through song. Children participating in these choirs are taught song and prayer in a creative and fun environment. Children, both members and non-members, are invited to participate in the following choirs.
The Normandale Boy’s Choir, Wednesdays 4:45-5:45 pm
The Normandale Boy’s Choir is a boy choir for students in grades 3-6. The choir sings monthly. Choir members are expected to be at weekly rehearsals and participate in scheduled worship services. The choir rehearses on Wednesday afternoons from 4:45-5:45 pm.
The Normandale Girl’s Choir, Wednesdays 6:00-7:00 pm
The Normandale Girl’s Choir is a girl choir for students in grades 3-6. Choir members are expected to be at weekly rehearsals and participate in scheduled worship services. The choir rehearses on Wednesdays from 6:00-7:00pm.
The Normandale Cherub Choir, Thursdays 4:30-5:30 pm
The Normandale Cherub Choir is a choir for boys and girls in kindergarten through grade 2. Choir members are expected to be at weekly rehearsals and participate in scheduled worship services. The choir rehearses Thursday afternoons from 4:30-5:30 pm.
