One Body, One Spirit, Many Gifts

For just as the body is one and has many members,
and all the members of the body, though many, are one body,
so it is with Christ. I Corinthians 12:12

Consider the Body of Christ.  You are the body of Christ and individually a member of it.  Unique gifts have been given to you through the Holy Spirit to make up this body – gifts that no one else possesses in quite the same way.  Do we know our gifts?  Do we see the need that God has for us and our gifts to be part of this body?  Do we see our needs fulfilled in His body?

Are you a Thrivent Member?

If so, you should have received a letter from Thrivent about your eligibility to participate in “Thrivent Choice.” Your “Choice Dollars” may be designated by you to go to many Lutheran nonprofit organizations, including Lutheran congregations. Since congregations will no longer receive special matching gifts from Thrivent, your designation to Normandale will be important and appreciated.
