Confirmation
God claims us in Baptism, and so we belong in God’s family. We are members together of the household of faith. We gather as God’s family in worship. In this Christian family, we grow in faith through life-long learning and service. The Confirming Ministry of Normandale seeks to walk with our young people as they grow in faith, hope, and obedience to the will of God.
This three-year progressive study of the Lutheran Faith for students in grades 7–10 meets Wednesday Nights from 6:30 to 7:30 pm during the school year. Students are confirmed in the fall of grade 10. Pastor-led presentations are followed by small-group discussion with lay catechists. First Wednesdays of each month are Parent Nights where parents participate with their student.
