The 2009 Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting of the Normandale Lutheran Church Foundation was held Sunday, January 31. The agenda included election of directors and a proposal for “housekeeping” amendments to the Foundation bylaws. A copy of the proposed amendments can be obtained in advance from Bill Marsella in the church office.

7th Annual Celebration Brunch

On Saturday morning January 9, 2010, I was privileged in my role as Normandale Foundation Administrator, to stand and introduce the first members of the Normandale Evangelical Lutheran Church Legacy Society. A group of Normandale individuals and families has made a commitment to leave the Normandale Foundation a gift from their estate in order to preserve, protect, and enhance the mission and core ministries of our Church for future generations long after they are gone. The members of our Body of Christ called Normandale know that every blessing they have in this life belongs to God, that when they die they can take nothing with them, and who will never have to fear ‘the second death.’

The Foundation Events are celebrations of our desire and ability to share our faith. You are invited to participate in any of these events – and we encourage you to get involved!

We’re planning new ways to share this mission with the congregation in smaller activities throughout the year.
