Foundation Grant Recipients
All gifts will further the work of the Foundation as it supports the mission and ministry of Normandale Lutheran Church.
Here are the ways the Foundation has extended that mission in the last year by supporting the following ministries:
- The Normandale Foundation made a major grant of $48,000 to help bring the Marching off the Maps Capital campaign for mission and outreach to a successful close this year.
- Part-time volunteer coordinator position at Normandale House that will focus on engaging members in our vital ministry of serving homeless families in the Phillips neighborhood.
- Small stipend Scholarships to 4 Normandale members who are studying in seminaries to be the future leaders of our Church
- A part-time children’s choir assistant to increase the capacity and quality of our wonderful children’s music ministry at Normandale
- Evidence based health aging programs to support Healing and Wholeness Ministry.
- Grant to support our youth missions trip to bring the love of Christ to our Christian brothers and sisters in Peru this past Christmas
- Grant to support of Normandale’s partnership with the Community Emergency Assistance Program in South Mpls a program that feeds the body and soul of the poor in South Minneapolis
