Foundation

Normandale Lutheran Church Foundation is our congregation’s response to God’s call to continue His mission and good works far into the future. The Foundation is where we gather and invest financial resources to launch new missions and ministries of our church, empowering our congregation and staff to dream and think big.
Leaps of Faith
By trusting in God's will for our work, the Foundation has taken many "leaps of faith" to support new missions and ministries through our annual giving, including:
- Supporting the innovative Faith Imprints program to nurture young children in their faith. Now a model for other congregations, the three-year, mentor-led sessions teach parents how to be the "first priests" in their babies' lives, building a firm foundation for their faith life as individuals and a family.
- Providing money to hire a Volunteer Coordinator at Normandale House to recruit and manage the support and involvement by members of Normandale congregation to help residents transition from homelessness to stable housing.
- Enabling the music and mission ministries to hire summer interns to augment resources and extend reach.
- Sending Normandale youth on mission trips near and far to help them experience the joy of giving and receiving God’s love.
And, our funds helped launch Marching off the Maps, and we are committed to sustaining these important ministries into the future - Worship and Music, Mission and Outreach, Healing and Wholeness, Youth Ministry, and Christian Education. Our grants reflect that process, and your support will ensure that in the future, we can give even more.

It just makes sense to me that the God I believe in would want me to use my gifts to help others..”
