Support the Foundation

We encourage all Normandale individuals and families to consider a donation to the Endowment Fund to provide lasting support for our Church’s mission and our five core ministries. Making a legacy gift to one of the five endowments will guarantee that the Marching off the Maps ministries and programs will continue into the future.

Worship and Music Endowment: supports the worship and music ministries at Normandale, the cornerstone of life at our Church

Mission and Outreach Endowment: supports local ministries such as the Normandale Housing Corporation and global ministries such as mission Bangladesh

Healing and Wholeness Endowment: supports such projects as Partners in Care, where Normandale supports seniors and their caregivers toward the goals of promoting health and improving capabilities to ‘age in place’

Youth Ministry Endowment: supports the spiritual growth of Normandale’s young people and programs such as Sending Forth, which encourages our young people to enter the pastoral ministry.

Christian Education Endowment: supports programs such as the Orchard, a ministry of spiritual formation for adult members of the congregation, and Faith Imprints, a program for very young children and their parents that focuses on faith formation and the parents role as ‘first priests’.

Once you make your gift to the Endowment Fund, the Normandale Lutheran Church Foundation is accountable to invest and manage it wisely, using professional investment advisors and experienced charitable fund advisors. The foundation will also work closely with the members of the Normandale Lutheran Church Council who will determine how monies within each endowment are spent.
