Foundation Volunteer Opportunities

The Normandale Foundation Board invites members of the congregation to help us launch new missions and ministries of our Church, empowering our congregation to dream and think big by serving as a volunteer on one of these standing committees of the Board:

Normandale Foundation Grants Committee: Reviews grant applications and makes funding recommendations to the Board of Directors, conducts site visits and meets with representatives seeking funds to screen grant requests and/or insure accountability for results achieved by ministry programs that receive funding from the foundation.

“I was a big contributor to the Marching off the Maps campaign, serving on the Normandale Foundation grants committee gave me the opportunity to see this ministry up close as our committee toured Normandale House and granted funds for a part-time volunteer coordinator to provide more opportunities for our Church members to connect with this important ministry.”
Ken Heinecke

NLCF Marketing and Communications Committee: Advance the Foundation’s mission and vision by developing and implementing communications and marketing strategies to increase the visibility of the Foundation within the congregation and deepen the engagement of current Church members as volunteers and donors.

NLCF Planned Giving Committee: Provides technical assistance to the Staff Director in planning and executing a planned giving program among Normandale members in support of the Foundation.

If you are interested in volunteering to serve on one of these committees contact Bill Marsella at 952-929-1697/ email: foundation@normluth.org
