Farewell Fine Friends!

It is with a sad heart that we say good-bye to our two wonderful foot care nurses Linda and Mary.

Linda Pedersen has been providing foot care services to our seniors for over ten years, begin-ning with one day a month. Three years ago, she expanded her services to two days a month and it didn’t take long for her appointment calendar to fill up. About two years ago, Mary Johnson joined Linda and continued to provide the excellent service that our seniors had grown to expect.

These two wonderful women are not just foot care nurses, they have become our friends. The Center staff and the seniors in the community will miss their smiling faces.

Nurse Linda

LINDALinda has been a nurse since 1968. She grew up on a farm near La Crosse and has raised 2 sons. After the March foot care clinic, Linda left for a week-long mission trip-her 6th-to Mexico, helping to build homes. She also enjoys RV travel with her husband. Linda finds foot care rewarding noting that her clients are like friends. She says she is inspired by the example of Jesus washing feet.

Nurse Mary

maryMary was raised in Rockford, IL and graduated from North Park College. She taught for three years at Methodist Hospital School of Nursing. She is married and has three children. After raising her children, Mary went into Home Health Care where she retired three years ago. She is very active in Women Ministries and enjoys being able to help seniors.
