Volunteer Coordinator, Sue Schultz
Sue recruits, trains, and monitors the efforts of over 100 volunteers who participate in the Center’s Care Team Ministry. Teams of one to four volunteers are formed to serve the needs of individual seniors in the community including getting rides for seniors with transportation needs. She coordinates volunteers at The Colony at Eden Prairie and provides assistance to The Colony with its new resident orientation.
Sue works at the Colony on Mondays, 8:30 -11:30 am. She works at the Center Tuesdays 10 am- 4pm and Wednesdays noon-4 pm. She can be reached at 952-929-1697 ext. 31 or email sue@normluth.org .
Teams
Teams of volunteers are organized to provide for non-medical needs of seniors and their family caregivers (e.g., friendly visits, errands, household tasks). Care Team volunteers are given education, training, and ongoing support through the Center's Care Team Coordinator.
