Marketing/Communications Professional | Center for Healing & Wholeness
The Center for Healing and Wholeness is seeking a contract Marketing/Communications professional for 4 to 5 hours a week. The position reports to the Executive Director and will coordinate identified marketing and community outreach efforts effectively linking individuals to services and supports available at the Normandale Center for Healing and Wholeness (the Center). This includes: Developing and heightening community awareness via social media, management of electronic mailings, website content and other communications activities utilizing identified marketing and communications avenues. The position also facilitates the marketing of targeted evidence-based program offerings in conjunction with individuals/ organizations through targeted outreach and material development. The qualified candidate will possess a College Degree or higher , at least 1 - 2 years’ experience in a community based organization (as a participant or volunteer) and, at least 5+ years professional experience in marketing, communications or a related field (for more requirements see full position description). Excellent/demonstrated verbal and written skills, strong communication, presentation and organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal/customer service skills (including listening, respect for boundaries, confidentiality/privacy) are required. Part-Time Parish Nurse
Normandale Lutheran Church is seeking a part-time Parish Nurse. This .25 position provides whole-person health-promotion and disease-prevention services with an emphasis on spiritual care. The major accountabilities and job activities of the parish nurse are integrator of faith and health, health educator, individual health counselor, developer of support groups, health advocate, and facilitator of community relations. The position coordinates all parish-nurse programming for the congregation. Nursing degree (BS preferred) with current active licensure as a registered nurse in Minnesota required. Seeking an outstanding individual with 5+ years’ community-health, ambulatory care or other related applicable health care delivery nursing experience; previous experience in community assessments and health counseling; clear understanding of the confidentiality and privacy required within the duties of the position; ability to develop reports as required (Excel or other related software);demonstrated understanding of spirituality and religiosity as evidenced by personal experience in lay leadership, education, personal or professional spiritual practice and; willingness to complete MAAA Resource Consultation Certification (Center for Healing and Wholeness Ministry of NLC will coordinate certification).
