SAYFSM (Sub-Saharan African Youth and Family Services of Minnesota) Christmas Party

Once again, SAYFSM is blessed by the generosity of Normandale Lutheran Church. Thank you for hosting the Christmas party for our clients. Your generous support provided gifts for 41 African immigrants who are living with HIV/AIDS. We were able to give each one a gift card for $75! That is phenomenal and really brightens their holiday season.

We are indeed blessed to have such unfailing and devoted support. With your help, we are improving the lives of African mmi-grants and refugees living in the Twin Cities. You are a valued and cherished partner.

Ephraim Olani, SAYFSM Executive

Sub-Saharan African Youth and Family Services of Minnesota

SAYFSMSAYFSM serves African immigrants and refugees with culturally and linguistically appropriate HIV/AIDS education and social services. Founded in Minnesota in 2002, SAYFSM is a nonprofit, multipurpose human service agency. SAYFSM serves all Africans regardless of country of origin, culture, language, and religion. SAYFSM’s services are free, confidential, and nonjudgmental.

SAYFSM’s office is open five days a week. Sewing classes and and support groups meet on Saturday, and we schedule visits to sustaining churches and community outreach appointments.

Normandale has been a SAYFSM anchor congregation from the start. Normandale members have supported SAYFSM by donating Christmas gifts and back-to-school supplies for kids, collecting necessary household and furniture items for people resettling, and developing personal relationships.
