St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Partnership

st paulsOur partner congregation in the Phillips neighborhood (where Normandale House is also located) serves both English- and Spanish-speaking communities. Help strengthen our relationship while developing new friendships across cultures.

Sewing Classes for youth and adults meet on Saturdays at 2:00 pm. We’re looking for people who could teach sewing, repair sewing machines, or just like to sew . . . or would like to learn to sew OR, while others sew, could you work with the women’s preschool age children?

Latinavian Cooking Classes periodically meet o share favorite recipes from our ethnic heritages. You’ll learn much more than how to make new dishes, and you’ll also enjoy the results of your work with new friends. Contact the church at 612-724-3862 to know when classes are offered.

Missionary in Place Wonder what it’s like to serve on the mission field but can’t leave the Cities? Consider becoming a “Missionary in Place” at St. Paul’s. Missionaries in Place continue to live at home but “enter into” the new community for 3 to 6 months, to worship, serve, and support St. Paul’s ministry. We welcome individuals and families. No experience or knowledge of Spanish needed! (We will train and translate!)
