Adult Life & Learning
Sundays, September - May | 9:40-10:30am | Fellowship Hall
Join in our new Community Life & Learning as all generations gather around a common topic in age-appropriate learning environments. Adults will meet in Fellowship Hall. All are welcome.
Our theme during Lent is When You Were Hungry:
- March 8 | Feasting on the Word/A Faith Five Approach to Life
The practice of scripture reading is food for our souls. Come and learn some simple, and yet practical helps to making this a disciplined part of your life. Pastor Paul will facilitate both learning and practice, as you share with each other in reflection on God’s Word.
- March 15 | Crowded Table/Holy Communion 101
Pastor Ian offers a refresher/intro course for people who either never went to first communion class, or perhaps have not been since childhood! The presentation will focus on Martin Luther’s explanation of “The Sacrament of the Altar” from the Small Catechism, and will eat bread and drink wine together at a dinner table in Fellowship Hall.
- March 22 | Healing Power of the Human Body
- March 29 | CES (Community Emergency Services) Service Project
God calls us to FEED the hungry, SO WE ARE! Community Emergency Services (CES) is here to lead us in a handful of hands-on, hunger-related service activities for all ages. So, bring your FoodShare donations, roll up your sleeves, and let's make a difference!
Help us prepare for this service project by bringing in paper grocery bags, coffee, and tea bags along with your other donations.
